Ilene Gordon is chairman, president and CEO of Ingredion Incorporated, a leading global producer of nature-based ingredient solutions.
A FORTUNE 500 company, Ingredion has 11,000 employees, 2016 net sales of $5.7 billion and a market capitalization close to $9 billion. Previously Gordon was at Rio Tinto Alcan Packaging as president and CEO of Alcan Packaging based in Paris, France. She spent 17 years in executive roles at the Packaging Corporation of America and two years at Signode. She began her career at the Boston Consulting Group as a strategy consultant based in Boston, London and Chicago.
Gordon holds a B.S. in mathematics from MIT, and a M.S. in management from MIT's Sloan School of Management. Gordon is a member of the boards of Lockheed Martin, International Paper and the MIT Corporation, and a vice chair of The Conference Board.
