Melissa obtained her Bachelor’s Degree in Business Finance from Florida A & M University before going on to work on Wall Street as a licensed stock broker. Her journey from stocks and bonds to beauty was created by her frustration with the beauty industry’s lack of diversity and excessive amounts of chemicals.

Elizabeth Cutler

Elizabeth Cutler is an American entrepreneur and investor best known for founding the fitness phenomenon SoulCycle.

Cutler and her partner Julie Rice started SoulCycle in 2006 in the rear lobby of an Upper West Side dance studio she found on Craigslist. Cutler and Rice grew the company to nearly 60 studios as founders, CEOs, and Creative Officers before departing in 2016.


   

Karen Galivan

Karen has been in public practice since 1998 providing tax, accounting and consulting services to mid-sized businesses and closely-held corporations in various industries including industrial and commercial manufacturing and distribution, private equity and other service industries. Karen assists her clients in federal, state and foreign tax compliance, planning, and research as well as special projects such as accounting method changes. She is also one of RSM’s economic ambassadors and the regional tax lead specialist for tangible asset and repairs regulations.


   

Kassi Rushing

Kassi Rushing is the Director of People Growth & Engagement at HORNE LLP. She oversees the firm's talent recruitment strategy, creates and manages the pathways for team members to grow and develop into leaders, and sets strategy for ongoing team member care and engagement. Kassi is chair of HORNE's Personnel Committee. She is also a founding member of the Belonging at HORNE Steering Committee, dedicated to the work of equitable attraction, retention and advancement among HORNE's workforce.

Brande Stellings advises companies and boards on workplace culture and inclusion as an independent consultant. Until recently, she served as SVP, Advisory Services at Catalyst, leading Catalyst’s consulting practice and corporate boards practice. Through these roles, Brande worked closely with companies to accelerate the advancement of women through the pipeline and to the boardroom. In 2017 Brande was appointed as an independent member of the Fox News Workplace Professionalism and Inclusion Council, reporting to the company’s Board of Directors.

Shane Wood

Shane graduated from Brigham Young University with a Masters degree in tax and joined Squire & Company in 1987 and has 30 years of public accounting experience. He has been active in firm leadership and is currently in charge of firm recruiting. He has been a member of the firms Women Improving Professionally Committee (WIP) since inception. Shane is a member of the AICPA, UACPA, UACPA PAC committee and Rotary International.


   

Jake Stika

Jake Stika is the Cofounder & Executive Director of Next Gen Men, a nonprofit organization engaging, educating, and empowering men and boys around gender in schools, communities, and workplaces. Jake has earned recognition from Ashoka, the British Council, the Canadian Centre for Diversity and Inclusion, has spoken as part of the Canadian delegation at the United Nations as well as at the UN Women Safe Cities Initiative Global Forum.
