National Sr. Director of Government Affairs; Culture Diversity and Inclusion | RSM US LLP

As National Senior Director of Government Affairs; Culture Diversity and Inclusion for the global RSM organization, Tracey serves a dual role for the nation’s fifth largest accounting and consulting concern, RSM US LLP. She leads national public policy and government affairs efforts driving advocacy externally, while also defining diversity policy and executing inclusion programs internally for 10,000 employee domestic and 32,000 global workforce as well as the firm’s supplier and business partner diversity programs. Her career at RSM spans the last fourteen years and includes leadership of corporate programs, and client service teams. Tracey was selected by Richard J. Caturano, the AICPA Past Chairman, and RSM National Leadership Partner, to Direct RSM’s National Culture, Diversity and Inclusion (CDI) initiatives. This includes Workforce, Workplace, Marketplace and Community actions, diverse trade organization support (NABA, ALPFA and Ascend), firm-wide professional development, as well as RSM Employee Network Group leadership and management. The role incorporates government affairs, client and talent experience efforts across the $1.5 Billion RSM enterprise; advising the Inclusion Council, CEO and Combined Leadership Team on matters of diversity and policy.

Previously, Tracey led RSM service initiatives within federal agencies. As the Financial Services Sector Leader, she drove specialized financial advisory teams to address government finance client needs in lending, compliance, financial management and reporting, risk and technology. She has 20 years of federal and state government solution, public policy and legislative affairs experience and is currently the firm’s registered corporate representative before state legislative, federal agencies and Congressional lawmaking officials. She serves as Vice President of the Government Transformation Initiative (GTI), of which RSM LLP is a founding coalition member, serving under former US Comptroller David M. Walker, and with AICPA President CEO Barry Melancon and others, to drive federal program transformation, innovation and policy.

As a RSM global brand spokesperson, Tracey is the 2016 “Face of RSM” and represents the firm in all national media. She speaks frequently on diversity topics and has received numerous firm and professional recognitions and honors including 2018 Diversity MBA Elite 50 diversity Executives, Consulting Magazine Women Leaders in Consulting and RSM Future-maker, RSM Excellence and Champion for Growth honors. Her charitable efforts include Howard University advisory board, Chair of the Northern Virginia Urban League and numerous college prep, financial literacy, aid and access efforts for students across the U.S. She and her family reside in Fairfax, Virginia.
